MuseTalk: pricing, latency & capabilities

MuseTalk is a self-hosted lip-sync system. It modifies a face region in existing video and requires your application to provide the rest of the conversation and delivery pipeline.

When to consider MuseTalk

Consider MuseTalk for a controlled lip-sync experiment or a self-hosted starting point. Evaluate the edited face region at the size your users will see.

Pricing by mode

A practical open-source starting point for audio-driven lip synchronization. The project reports real-time throughput on a V100 after avatar preparation.

Code and weights available. Review dependency and model licenses.

Usage rates are one component of cost. Use the monthly calculator for supported plan allowances and session assumptions.

Estimate monthly cost

Monthly cost examples

A monthly total needs a verified plan quote or measured compute budget. Use the provider or project sources to establish billable units, preparation, and delivery costs before estimating.

Plan the integration

Prepare the avatar, run inference on your chosen GPU, and measure encoding and transport in addition to model execution. Include preprocessing and idle compute in your cost estimate.

Read the latency correctly

The project's 30+ FPS report uses a Tesla V100 after avatar preparation. It is neither a hosted API response time nor a universal hardware result.

It edits the face region. Throughput depends on GPU, preprocessing, and output handling; it is not a hosted conversational API.

Questions to verify before launch

  • What is sustained end-to-end FPS on your actual GPU?
  • How does the edited face region look in the full output video?
  • What code and model licenses apply to the intended deployment?
